Trinity West Beauty Features Updated Finishes, Backyard Oasis

Dona Satterfield is not kidding when she says she has a Trinity West one-story with gorgeous updates. And those updates will satisfy any family’s need to entertain and relax. It was the perfect choice for our Friday Five Hundred this week.

Her listing, which is with Pine & Beckett Realtors, sits at 4125 Springfield Court, and is right smack dab in the middle of the Trinity West neighborhood, practically. It’s been elegantly updated with light, airy paint colors and finishes in every single generously sized room. (more…)

6202 Monticello Front

I was getting really, really, terribly bored looking for a home to feature today. First I thought “Let’s see if there’s something fun in Frisco,” but everything just looked the same to me today. Then I looked at homes in McKinney, only to have the same thing happen. After looking and looking and looking and almost at the very edge of being put to sleep by home searching, I stumbled upon a home that was so unique, so fun, so vibrant, it woke me up faster than my grande vanilla latte with an extra shot!

Truly, this Lakewood Heights Midcentury Modern may look like a yawnfest from the curb, but boy, you’re in for a treat after the jump!

Friday Five Hundred: Vickery Place Craftsman Has The Updates You Want

5410 Vickery Blvd. is a stunning Craftsman bungalow with tons of updates!

So, I think I’ve already admitted this, but I am a sucker for Arts & Crafts architecture. When I saw this $549K listing from Haley Wagstaff at Dave Perry-Miller INTOWN, well, my heart went all aflutter!

First: Love the exterior color scheme! The red door adds just the right amount of personality! So thoughtful! So Feng Sui!!

The livingroom features a fireplace and plenty of light.

But inside, you’ll find tons of great updates that don’t take away from the Craftsman charm. Tray ceilings, gorgeous fixtures, subtle paint, and wonderful wood trim make this Arts & Crafts abode a stunner.

Check out those beautiful wood-trimmed windows and pocket doors!

This home has something that’s pretty rare for its 1920s time period: THREE FULL BATHROOMS! Can you tell I’m excited about that? There are four bedrooms and a study that’s being used as a fifth, too, but — THREE FULL BATHS! OK, I’ll rein it in.

Find respite in the large master bedroom.

The master bedroom is big and clean, and so is the dining and living areas. The kitchen, well, it’s got granite counters, a gas cooktop and custom vent hood, gorgeous subway tile backsplash, plenty of cabinet space, an eat-in island and — my favorite feature — a wine fridge!

The kitchen has all the updates you could want!

Add in the lovely pool in the backyard and, well, I don’t see this $549K Craftsman on the market for too long!
