Talk about unexpected. This home is the very definition of a sleeper. It looks totally unassuming from the front. Very sedate tan brick, plain hedges and oversized front lawn. It’s a very typical curb view for a traditional post war home built in Northwest Dallas. Just outside Midway Hollow, the Timber Trail area is experiencing a ton of growth. Several lots have creek views from the back, and though you’re right next to Walnut Hill and Marsh, the area feels somewhat isolated. The mature trees keep this area feeling formal and established.

Sometimes you really do have to head to the suburbs to find a good deal. With all of the homes in Dallas and Fort Worth getting snapped up so fast, perhaps it’s a good idea to look north to Grapevine, where you can get a great family home for not a lot of money.
